smartLabel

A simple tool to edit the label knob, without need to enter on the properties panel of the node.

With a specific options for some kind of node.

Shortcut: shift + q

Backdrops: label, font size, order and icon

Sticky Note: label, font size, alignment and icon

Dots: label, font size and icon

Channel Merge: label, operation and bbox

Merge: label, operation and bbox

For any other kind of node, only label is available

Download here.

To install, just edit your menu.py with this text:

import smartLabel

and copy the smartLabel.py to your .nuke folder.

You can find your .nuke folder at:

Linux: /home/login name/.nuke

macOS: /Users/login name/.nuke

Windows: drive letter:\Users\user name\.nuke
